Little Torrington
The Freeborn Men (Big Al & Matt) will be performing
in Little Torrington village hall on Friday 12 June at 7.30pm. The ticket
price of £6.50 includes a ploughman's supper and are available beforehand
from Yvonne on 01805 624743. A bar will be available and all proceeds
from the evening will go towards the upkeep of the hall.
There will be two Open Garden events in the village, on Sunday 14 June
and again on Sunday 26 July. These will be held in the afternoon along
with Cream Teas and some crafts in the hall. What better way to spend
a summer Sunday afternoon?
Friday 28 August sees another popular family entertainment event at Rosemoor
where 'Ring of Fire', the popular Johnny Cash tribute band, will be performing.
Tickets (£12) will include a ploughman's supper and will be available
from Rose Peard on 01805 625194. There will also be a Bar and a raffle.
This event is being jointly organised by Little Torrington and Buckland
Brewer village halls who will share the proceeds for their halls' upkeep.
